Family & Business Memberships

Soy Latino Como Tu invites Latin American families and families of other nationalities to join this great organization that seeks to show the greatness and cultural diversity that exists in Latin America, in order to provide the child with a better global vision to help them in their personal and educational development. We offer both family and business membership programs. Memberships last 1 year (365 days) after which they must be renewed to continue receiving the benefits.

Donations for both family memberships and business memberships can either be made through our secure online Paypal account or by sending a money order or personal check to our PO box address (P.O. Box 77263, Charlotte, NC, 28271) are tax-deductible.

Family membership covers all members of your family 18 and under. Those over 18 years of age must register individually. Family members will be able to participate in all cultural inclusion activities. This includes learning about their ancestors through educational workshops as well as access to trips, cultural events, and festivals that take place during the year, in various cities in the US. Family members will also be able to take classes in Spanish tutoring, leadership, and participate in social projects while carrying out cultural interaction and exchanges with adolescents of other nationalities. Family members will also get free access to the study pages detailing the histories and cultures of various Latin American countries. The information on these study pages is very helpful in taking the knowledge test required to be eligible for the roots journey, a trip to their parents’ country of origin. Family membership is required to apply for the roots journey program.

Note: It is not necessary to have Latin American roots to be a member, but rather to have a love for Spanish-speaking culture.
